How to Post and Manage a Dance Project on Sheydance

Posting a project on Sheydance is straightforward. Just follow the steps below to get started:

• Log in to your Sheydance client account at sheydance.com.

• From the left-hand menu, click Project Dashboard. Here, you’ll find two sections:

1. Active Projects – View your current, ongoing listings.

2. Previous Projects – See any projects you’ve posted in the past.

• To create a new project, simply click Post a Project.

• Fill out the project form with the following details:

• Project Title: Add a clear and engaging title (e.g., Hip-Hop Dancer for Music Video Shoot).

• Project Category: Select the type of project (e.g., Music Video, Live Performance, Workshop).

• Dance Speciality: Choose the dance style from the list (e.g., Afro-Fusion, Ballet, Jazz, Zouk, etc.).

• Age Groups Catered To: Select your target age group(s)—from kids to mature adults.

• Project Duration: Choose how long the project will run (e.g., 1-4 weeks, 1–3 months, Less than 1 month).

• Location: Click Choose Address to enter where the project will take place.

• Travelling Required: Indicate whether travel is necessary (Yes/No).

• Number of Creatives Needed: Specify how many dancers, choreographers, or instructors you're hiring.

• Budget: Enter the total budget in £ (British Pounds).

• Project Description: Share detailed information about the project goals, expectations, and creative needs.

• Attach File: Optionally upload documents, references, or videos to support your listing.

• Once all details are filled in, click the Submit button to publish your project.

Managing Applications & Hiring

Once your project is live, here's how you can view and manage proposals:

• Go to the Active Projects tab from your dashboard, and click View Details on the relevant project.

• Under the Proposals tab, you'll see all applications submitted.

• From here, you can:

• Message applicants to clarify project details.

• Or hire directly by clicking Hire, selecting a payment method, and sending an offer.

• When you send an offer to a dancer, your card will be charged, and funds will be transferred to a secure third-party Stripe account.

• At any point before the work begins, you may cancel the project by submitting a cancellation request. Once approved by the dancer, the funds will be refunded to your card.

• After the project is marked as complete by both you and the dancer, you can release the funds directly from your dashboard.
